About me

I am a molecular biologists and fascinated about the processes involved in life on a molecular level. I did my PhD at the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre in Nijmegen, at the department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology on the molecular mechanisms behind Polycystic Liver Disease. Next I worked at the Stem Cell Institute Leuven (SCIL) on the epigenetic regulation underlying lineage specification in mouse embryonic stem cells. Currently I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Utrecht University where I study genetic kidney diseases. You can find some more information about my research on the other pages.
